The Ötztal valley enchants hikers, mountaineerers, and climbers with variety: easy hikes with extended breaks to rest, maybe at one of the numerous alpine huts. High alpine tours to the highest mountains of the Ötztal valley, maybe even a glacier adventure. Climbing experiences on the rock, in high rope courses or with via ferratas - everything is possible in the surroundings of our Gästehaus Arnold in Sölden. Moreover, the cable cars operating in summer bring you up the mountain in no time at all.

Mountain biking and downhill riding

Our Gästehaus Arnold is the perfect starting point for extended cycling tours through the entire Ötztal valley and maybe even over the Timmelsjoch pass. In addition, a great variety of signposted MTB and even downhill trails awaits you, promising special adventures amidst unspoilt nature.

Swimming and action in the water

Of course, the element water must not be missing in any summer holiday. Those who seek for action, give canyoning and rafting a try or simply visit the Area 47. You can also enjoy the summer sun in a more relaxed manner, e.g. when swimming in the lake Piburg or one of the outdoor swimming pools in the Ötztal valley.
